Customer wanted to remodel his bathroom. General contractor chose us to work on this project.
Step 1:
We talk with the customer and general contractor to learn what is underneath the concrete (electrical lines, water lines, sewage, etc), then plan out the layout of the bathroom, and make sure the layout and spacing of fixtures are up to code.
Step 2:
Once layout is figured out and fixtures are marked, we proceed to cut and break away concrete. After concrete demolition, we dig up the dirt for the new pipes and cut the old pipes.
Step 3:
We first start with the new sewage lines. We connect new fittings and pipes underground and check for correct slope and correct location. We then redo the drain pipes in the wall. After all sewage pipes are redone, we fill them up with water to test if any fitting leak. Once we confirm that everything is good, we move on to “Step 4”.
Step 4:
We shut off the main water supply and cut away at the existing water lines. We run new water lines to all new fixture locations and install bath and shower valves. After water repipe is finished, we turn on the water and check to see if there is any leaks. Once we confirm that there is no leaks in the water system, we can proceed to “Step 5”.
Step 5:
Once our pipes have passed leak tests, we install nail plates, fire block foam, backfill and compact underground dirt, install rebar and backfill concrete.
After we showed the customer and general contractor our work, they confirmed that everything is just how they wanted it to be. They are very HAPPI!
